Care that begins with your story
Living with symptoms that keep returning—or that have not improved as expected—can be frustrating. At Jacob AcuBalance, we take time to understand your history, what has already been tried, and how your concerns affect daily life. We then discuss whether acupuncture may be a reasonable part of your care.
Concerns we can discuss
- Long-standing or recurring neck, back, shoulder, and other musculoskeletal pain
- Overlapping symptoms involving pain, sleep, tension, or fatigue
- Symptoms that interfere with movement and everyday activities
- Pain and everyday discomfort during or after cancer treatment
Support During and After Cancer Treatment
Pain or stiffness can make everyday activities harder after cancer surgery or other treatment. At Jacob AcuBalance, we take time to understand where you are in your care, which symptoms are affecting daily life, and what you’d like to get back to.
We can discuss whether acupuncture may fit into your recovery plan for concerns such as persistent discomfort after surgery, joint aches during treatment, or stiffness that makes it harder to move comfortably. We focus on goals that matter to you, such as getting dressed, reaching overhead, or returning to your usual activities.
Acupuncture is offered as supportive care for selected symptoms alongside your oncology care, follow-up, and rehabilitation. We take your oncology team’s guidance into account when planning care.

Working alongside your medical care
For serious, changing, or unexplained symptoms, appropriate medical evaluation remains essential. Acupuncture can sometimes complement—not replace—ongoing care from your physician or specialist. We welcome collaboration and clear communication about your treatment goals.
